At least 32 killed, 700 injured in 2 major earthquakes in Venezuela, says acting president

Two powerful earthquakes rocked northern Venezuela earlier today, striking the capital region of Caracas within seconds of each other. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a seven point two magnitude quake was followed by a seven point five magnitude earthquake less than a minute later. The second quake was the largest to hit Venezuela since nineteen hundred. The acting president reported at least thirty-two people killed and seven hundred injured in the twin disasters.
