Venezuela earthquakes live: US 'immediately deploying' rescuers, Rubio says

Two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela today, hitting within a single minute of each other. According to France 24, the tremors measured seven point two and seven point five in magnitude — among the strongest to hit the country in over a hundred years. The back-to-back quakes caused buildings to collapse and widespread damage across Caracas and surrounding areas. The United States, India, and China have pledged to assist the country.
