Haitian residents in South Florida are facing the end of their Temporary Protected Status after the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to terminate the program in June, according to NPR. TPS granted Haitians legal protections following the country's twenty ten earthquake, when Haiti was deemed too unsafe for residents to return to.
