Per CNBC, Asian technology stocks extended a broad selloff, with semiconductor and artificial intelligence plays taking the heaviest losses. SoftBank dropped seven percent, following weakness from U.S. markets. Chinese internet stocks, though, bucked the regional trend—Tencent, Meituan, Baidu, and Kuaishou all moved higher.
