As Ukrainian strikes its logistics centers in Russia, Wildberries is searching for available warehouses in Kazakhstan

business

Wildberries, Russia's major online marketplace, is hunting for warehouse space in Kazakhstan after Ukrainian drone strikes have repeatedly targeted its logistics centers inside Russia. Per Kommersant, the company is seeking around a hundred thousand square meters of space in Kazakhstan, and may be willing to take any available facility there. Ukraine has been striking Wildberries warehouses since mid-July across Moscow, Tambov, Krasnodar, Stavropol, and multiple other regions. The company is also still seeking warehouses in Russia, but real estate owners are reluctant to lease due to the ongoing attack risk. Even finding space in Kazakhstan could prove difficult—warehouse availability there is already scarce.
