‘The King’s Warden’ Leads Korea to Best First Half Box Office Since Pandemic

Korean cinema is bouncing back strong. Per Variety, the film industry posted three hundred ninety-nine point one million dollars during the first half of twenty twenty-six on fifty-seven million admissions—a year-over-year increase of forty-one point nine percent in revenue and thirty-four point two percent in attendance. Local productions led the charge, with 'The King's Warden' topping the box office. It's the strongest first half for Korean movies since the pandemic.
