Show HN: Kedge – Full-stack cloud with forkable VM snapshots and global SQLite
saas
Hacker News is sharing Kedge, a new cloud platform for stateful serverless applications, built by an engineer who spent four years at Fly dot io. The service uses virtual machine snapshots—which it can launch in just three milliseconds—paired with a globally replicated S Q L ite database. Each instance queries a local copy of the data, letting apps run fast and stay synchronized without requiring manual management of instances or storage. Kedge is currently in preview across eleven regions, with pricing to be announced.
