Airworthiness Directives; Stemme GmbH Gliders

The Federal Aviation Administration has adopted an airworthiness directive for Stemme Model S twelve gliders. The directive was prompted by reports of fuel leaking around copper sealing rings in the fuel system. According to the Federal Register, the directive requires repetitive visual inspections and replacement of the affected rings. Installation of these affected parts is now prohibited.
