Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes

The FAA is issuing a new airworthiness directive for certain Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 planes that have undergone specific modifications. Per the Federal Register, these aircraft's oxygen system cannot supply enough oxygen for extended-range operations with a maximum three-hour diversion time when four crew members are on board. The directive requires airlines to restrict these operations to three crew members and update the plane's manual with corrected oxygen pressure information. The FAA is adopting the measure to address the unsafe condition.
