At least 13 killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine as Poland investigates airspace violation – Europe live

At least thirteen people were killed and dozens more injured after Russia launched a huge overnight barrage on Ukraine, firing seventy-four missiles and two hundred eighty-four drones, The Guardian reports. Casualties were reported mainly in the Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. Poland, meanwhile, is investigating a reported airspace violation and explosion on its own territory from the attack, with Prime Minister Donald Tusk preparing to travel to the impact site in the country's east.
