Russian strikes kill at least 8, wound dozens across Ukraine

Russian strikes killed at least eight people and wounded more than a dozen others across Ukraine overnight, France 24 reports, with casualties reported in the capital Kyiv and in Poltava. The air force said the attack involved seventy-four missiles and two hundred eighty-four drones, prompting renewed calls from Kyiv for allies to send air defense supplies.
