Rescinding the Equity Assistance Center Program Regulations

The Education Department is proposing to rescind regulations governing its Equity Assistance Center Program, according to a notice posted to the Federal Register earlier today. The agency says it needs greater flexibility to align technical assistance with current and evolving priorities. The Department is seeking public comment on whether the regulations should be removed.
