Von der Leyen announces first payment to Ukraine under €90 billion loan

According to Euronews, the European Union has begun disbursing funds under its ninety-billion-euro support package for Ukraine. The first payment of three point two billion euros will address Kyiv's immediate financial and budgetary shortfalls. A second tranche of approximately six billion euros, earmarked specifically for drone production and defense capabilities, is expected within days.
