Book returned to Australian library – 150 years overdue

Per the Guardian, an Australian library has retrieved a remarkably late return. The book, Antiquities of Athens from 1858, came back to Kiama library—a seaside town south of Sydney—after an estimated one hundred fifty years overdue. A man found the book during a home renovation—in a tea crate, bricked into a sealed fireplace—and returned it to the library.
