Fifteen elephant deaths at Kenya park may be due to cyanide poisoning

Fifteen elephants have died near a park in southern Kenya over the past month, likely from cyanide poisoning. The Kenya Wildlife Service reported on Thursday that analysis of samples from the carcasses detected cyanide, a chemical used as a pesticide on nearby tomato farms. The agency's director said the animals likely ingested the poison.
