Nato ‘will take all necessary measures’ to defend territory after Russian missile crashes in Poland – as it happened

A Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crashed on Polish territory, Poland's prime minister has confirmed, as the country's defence minister called that identification the most probable explanation. The Guardian reports the prime minister is now in contact with EU and US leaders as NATO responds to the incident.
