tech

Apple indicated that heavy users of its revamped Siri could face charges for the service. During an earnings call, CEO Tim Cook said the company is developing a paid upgrade model to cover higher computing costs, likely through iCloud Plus. The improved voice assistant, which has earned positive early reviews in beta, launches broadly this fall with new iPhones. Axios reports this marks Apple's first suggestion of charging for any Apple Intelligence feature.
