Suffolk wildfire near Sizewell nuclear plant ‘stabilising’ after 24 hours

A wildfire burning near Sizewell, Britain's biggest nuclear power station, is now stabilising after more than a day, The Guardian reports. More than one hundred firefighters have been battling the blaze at Dunwich Heath, near Leiston on the Suffolk coast, since Wednesday evening, with the fire spreading across one hundred fifty hectares and forcing evacuations.
