How did climate change fuel the wildfires ravaging Europe this summer?

A new study from World Weather Attribution finds that human-caused climate change significantly worsened the wildfires that have hit France and Spain over the past week. The researchers concluded the hot, dry conditions were twice as likely in France and twenty times as likely in Spain because of climate change, France 24 reports.
