Spain’s Sánchez blames trafficking gangs as more than 40,000 migrants reach Ceuta – Europe live

Spanish prime minister Pedro Sánchez traveled to Ceuta on Friday, visiting the Tarajal border crossing before meeting with local authorities, border officials, and police, The Guardian reports. He's addressing a surge of more than forty thousand migrants reaching the enclave, and per The Guardian, he's blaming trafficking gangs for misleading people about a recent court ruling on those arriving in Spain by sea. Ceuta is a Spanish territory on the North African coast, bordering Morocco.
