Suspects confess to killing two Russians who disappeared in Thailand
world
Thai police say two suspects have confessed to killing two Russian siblings who vanished in Pattaya last week, according to Meduza. Twenty-two-year-old Diana Nazimova and her seventeen-year-old brother Roman disappeared after leaving on a motorcycle in the early hours of July twenty-sixth, and a search prompted by their mother led investigators to the bike, later found dismantled and buried on cemetery grounds. Meduza reports the two men detained, ages forty-three and thirty-nine, told police they'd tried to steal the motorcycle, and when the siblings resisted, shot Roman and beat Diana, who later died. The suspects say they buried the bodies in the mountains of Chonburi province.
