High school defends staying silent while boys made AI nudes of 59 classmates

A Pennsylvania private school is fighting back against a lawsuit from students who say it stayed silent while boys made AI-generated nude images of classmates. Lancaster Country Day School argues in a new motion to dismiss that it did notify law enforcement, since the original tip came from the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office, itself a law enforcement agency. The school also disputes that it knew specific girls were being targeted, saying the tip named no individual victims. Ars Technica reports the case centers on whether that tip obligated the school to act sooner, before, as the lawsuit claims, dozens more classmates were targeted.
