Ceuta 2026 dwarfs 2021 migration crisis

Spain's Ceuta enclave saw roughly sixty thousand migrants cross from Morocco in just a few days, with at least sixty-seven people dying in the attempt. By Saturday, France 24 reports, almost all who entered had already left. Spain has announced plans for a five-hundred-metre containment barrier at the sea border, and a majority of EU countries have called for emergency talks with the bloc's interior ministers.
