Mountaineer Nirmal Purja killed in Pakistan avalanche, his company says

Nepali-born mountaineer Nirmal Purja has been killed in an avalanche in Pakistan, according to his company. Purja rose to fame in 2019 by scaling all fourteen of the world's highest peaks in just over six months, a feat that had previously taken climbers years.
