Mountaineer Nirmal Purja killed with all members of expedition in Pakistan avalanche

Renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja has died along with other members of his expedition in a powerful avalanche in Pakistan, Euronews reports. His climbing company confirmed the deaths on Saturday, after rescuers recovered the remains of three climbers from the ten-strong expedition team. Purja had built his fame summiting all fourteen of the world's eight-thousand-meter peaks in under seven months.
