Increasing Local GPS Accuracy for a Small Robot

tech

Standard GPS keeps your car on the road, but small robots need centimeter-level accuracy. According to Hackaday, real-time kinematic GPS uses ground reference stations to send correction signals, improving precision from about thirty feet down to less than an inch. The technology is becoming more accessible to hobbyists and roboticists, opening new possibilities for autonomous navigation and other precision applications.
