Xbox prices spike another $100 or more

According to The Verge, Microsoft is raising Xbox console prices effective August first. The Series S reaches five hundred dollars—up one hundred from its previous price. The all-digital Series X hits seven hundred fifty dollars, a one hundred fifty dollar increase. The company attributes the hikes to memory shortages and semiconductor cost pressures in the gaming industry.
