Body of mountaineer Nirmal Purja recovered after Pakistan avalanche

Nirmal Purja, the mountaineer who scaled all fourteen of the world's highest peaks in just over six months back in 2019, has been found dead after an avalanche in Pakistan, BBC World reports. His feat shattered previous records for high-altitude climbing and made him one of the sport's most recognizable names.
