Rescuers recover climber Nirmal Purja's body after avalanche disaster

Rescuers have recovered the body of climber Nirmal Purja after an avalanche on Broad Peak, in Pakistan's Karakoram range, the Alpine Club of Pakistan says. The ground team reached him at roughly five thousand seven hundred meters on the mountain, per Channel NewsAsia. Purja, known as Nims Dai, rose to fame for setting speed records climbing the world's fourteen highest peaks.
