Moscow bomb kills at least three as device carried by woman explodes

Three people are dead and more than twenty injured after a homemade bomb, carried by a woman, exploded near an Italian restaurant in central Moscow on Saturday evening, The Guardian reports. The blast happened close to one of the city's Stalin-era skyscrapers at Kudrinskaya Square, and police confirmed the toll, though the Guardian notes only that social media speculation has linked the attack to the war in Ukraine — nothing beyond that has been established.
