Alan Jones trial on indecent assault and sexual touching charges begins in Sydney

A high-profile trial has opened at Sydney's Downing Centre local court for former broadcaster Alan Jones, who faces twenty-two charges of indecent assault and sexual touching. The Guardian reports the eighty-five-year-old is accused by six complainants over conduct allegedly occurring between two thousand three and twenty twenty. Judge Glenn Walsh is presiding over the case, which is expected to run for four months and hear from seventy-six witnesses.
