Rep. Max Miller not dropping out after domestic abuse allegations
politics
Ohio Republican Congressman Max Miller says he's staying in his reelection race, denying allegations that he abused his ex-wife and their young daughter. Axios reports the denial came days before Ohio's deadline to trigger a special election to replace him on the ballot. Shortly after, his ex-father-in-law, Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, publicly denounced him as a danger to his granddaughter and unfit for office. Miller faces Democrat Brian Poindexter in November for the seat, which Trump carried by eleven points in 2024.
