RFC 9851: TLS 1.2 is in Feature Freeze

TLS 1.2, the protocol that secures most internet traffic, has entered feature freeze, per RFC 9851. The Internet Engineering Task Force decision means the widely-deployed standard will receive only security patches and maintenance going forward. It's a formal shift to stability after years of evolution.
