Fires in Spokane, Washington, burn 600 structures, force 60,000 evacuations

Wildfires in Spokane, Washington have destroyed roughly six hundred structures and forced sixty thousand people to evacuate, Al Jazeera English reports. Across the state, fires have now burned through one thousand square kilometers, or about three hundred eighty-six square miles, with some blazes still uncontained.
