Newsletter platform Beehiiv and infrastructure company Cloudflare have announced a partnership to help independent journalists protect their work from AI scrapers. According to Nieman Lab, major publishers have deployed aggressive anti-scraping tools over the past year, but independent writers on third-party platforms haven't had access to the same defenses. The new partnership brings enterprise-grade protection within reach of indie creators, giving them control over how their work is used for AI training and republication.
