Thousands feared dead after Venezuela quakes as rescuers race to find survivors

A powerful earthquake has struck Venezuela, with authorities reporting at least one hundred eighty-eight deaths and over one thousand five hundred injuries. According to Jorge Rodriguez, who heads Venezuela's national assembly, at least two hundred fifty buildings have been damaged or destroyed. Rescue efforts are ongoing as thousands more are feared dead.
