Cloudflare Workers and Containers now support inbound TCP connections and gRPC

Cloudflare Blog reports that Cloudflare Workers now supports gRPC, the remote procedure call framework used for real-time and voice AI applications. The platform offers three ways to run gRPC: through direct TCP socket handling, through full-duplex streaming in containers, and through automatic translation from gRPC-web so developers use standard libraries unchanged. Developers can now run gRPC servers in any language across Cloudflare's three hundred thirty plus locations, bringing latency-critical workloads much closer to users.
