Building a palm-size ESP32 robot for a child
tech
Carl Bugeja designed ProtoBot, a palm-sized robot originally built for his son, now released as an open-source project for robotics builders. Adafruit Blog reports the innovation is a flexible circuit board with custom flexures that took many design iterations to get right, ultimately simplifying assembly, reducing wiring, and keeping the entire robot compact. The project includes build guides and can be controlled from a phone, automated, or customized using open-source code.
