Base Power raises another $1B to save the grid using backyard batteries

Base Power, a home battery startup, has secured another one billion dollars in funding. Per TechCrunch, the capital will help accelerate production of the company's batteries, aimed at supporting electrical grid stability through distributed residential energy storage.
