Japanese prints show tiny workers running the human body

Boing Boing is sharing a look at a nineteenth-century Japanese woodblock print that takes a playful approach to human anatomy. The work, titled Inshoku Yojo Kagami, or Mirror of the Physiology of Drinking and Eating, shows a man enjoying fish and sake with his torso cut away to reveal a crew of tiny workers inside keeping him going.
