Man gets jail for setting fire to cardboard cat houses placed at void decks

A retiree in Singapore has been jailed for setting fire to cardboard cat houses left at void decks, Channel NewsAsia reports. He said he'd raised the issue with his Member of Parliament but felt nothing had been done. Void decks are the open ground-floor spaces common beneath Singapore's public housing blocks.
