The FAA has certified Boeing's 737 MAX 7, clearing the way for deliveries of the smallest aircraft in the refreshed MAX family. Per France 24, the approval comes more than eight years after the plane's maiden flight—a timeline shaped by two fatal MAX crashes in 2018 and 2019, which led regulators to impose new safety requirements before certifying any new MAX model.
