‘Scott and Damien are afraid’: senior Liberal quizzed at Icac about former staffer’s message

On Tuesday, New South Wales shadow attorney general Damien Tudehope testified before the Independent Commission Against Corruption as part of an inquiry called Operation Rosny. The Guardian reports that Tudehope was questioned about a 2018 message from his former staffer Jean-Claude Perrottet—the younger brother of former Liberal premier Dominic Perrottet—in which Perrottet wrote to other members, quote, Scott and Damien are afraid, end quote. Tudehope also testified that Perrottet had a talent for recruiting and renewing party members.
