Metro Bank customer Zoli Rutter from Sussex had fourteen thousand two hundred forty-four pounds fraudulently withdrawn from his account, with fraudsters using the stolen money to buy credits for the AI chatbot Claude, The Guardian reports. The lender's systems failed to detect the unauthorized charges, and Rutter is now fighting for a refund.
