Russia’s only officially recognized maker of domestically produced TVs declared bankrupt

Russia's only officially recognized domestically-made TV manufacturer has been declared bankrupt. Kvant LLC, which produced Irbis-brand sets at plants in Zelenograd and Voronezh, halted assembly in April of twenty twenty-five, citing weak demand and complex paperwork for remaining on the government's approved supplier registry. Per Meduza, the company now faces nearly six hundred fifty-four point six million rubles in debt from creditors including divisions of Yandex and the DNS retail group.
