GitHub has released performance data for Copilot, its AI coding assistant. The latest benchmarks show strong results across multiple coding tasks while maintaining what GitHub calls leading token efficiency—essentially, high-quality suggestions without excessive computational overhead. Copilot now supports over twenty language models, giving developers flexibility to choose which AI backbone fits their workflow. According to GitHub's evaluation, this variety doesn't compromise on performance.
