Refuse collectors help Italian woman recover binned €1m lottery ticket

An Italian woman recovered a one million euro instant-win lottery ticket from the trash thanks to a frantic call to garbage workers. She had thrown it away without realizing it was a jackpot winner. Per waste management company SANB's administrator Roberto Nicola Toscano in Puglia, the garbage collectors combed through mounds of rubbish on their truck and miraculously found the ticket still in one piece.
