Miller calls for his own ethics probe following abuse allegations

Ohio Congressman Max Miller says he'll request an ethics investigation into himself, Axios reports, as he faces allegations from his ex-wife, Emily Moreno, who claims in court filings that he hit and threatened her. Miller denies the accusations, has sued her for defamation, and insists he has 'nothing to hide' while vowing to stay in his reelection race. Her father, Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, publicly denounced Miller as unfit for office, and according to Axios, President Trump privately voiced doubts about Miller's candidacy in a phone call. Miller is also fighting a separate motion from former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, whose lawyers say he violated a settlement tied to an earlier defamation suit between them.
