Ex-MP urges Tories to drop candidate jailed for campaign of antisemitic abuse against her
politics
According to The Guardian, a former British MP is calling on the Conservative Party to drop an election candidate with a troubling past. Luciana Berger has urged party leaders to reject Joshua Bonehill-Paine, who was previously jailed for a campaign of antisemitic abuse against her. Bonehill-Paine is a former neo-Nazi, and Berger says he should have no role in public life because of his racism and his view of women. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, however, has defended his selection, insisting she believes in second chances.
