Judge grants DoJ bid to dismiss January 6 cases against rightwing Oath Keepers

A federal judge granted the Department of Justice's motion on Tuesday to dismiss cases against Oath Keepers members, vacating the seditious conspiracy convictions of founder Stewart Rhodes and others. The militia members had been convicted for plotting to prevent the transfer of power following the 2020 election in connection with the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack, according to The Guardian.
